Geologist Tako Koning presented a Friday debate on the theme of “Angola’s oil economy, past, present & future”. He is a Canadian, Angola-based petroleum geologist and consultant. The presentation included a look at the advantages and disadvantages of a petro-economy, history of Angola’s economy, geology basics, major oil discoveries in the country, insight into the country’s current and future levels of oil exploration and other points.
