On 26 July, UNHCR led a mission to Moxico to investigate reports of the arrival of a group of Rwandan and Burundese nationals. The mission found some 1,500 men, women and children seeking asylum in Luau (UNITA controlled) settled in UNHCR’s reception centre. UNHCR is coordinating emergecy assistance to the group until a viable and sustainable solution can be found.
