UN UCAH Humanitarian Assistance in Angola: April 1997

For the first time since 1992, UNITA and Government agricultural technicians meet to plan joint intervention in Malange province. Over 5,000 IPFs live in Bengo province. NGOs and MINARs plan for their return to Ucua and Muxaluando. The Rapid Demobilization of excess troops has started in the Central and Southern regions.
