The Angolan Peace Process is in mourning. The Special Representative of the Secretary General, Maitre Alioune Blondin Beye, died along with five MONUA senior staff and two pilots as a result of a plane crash 26 June in Cote d’Ivoire. The aircraft took off from Lome (Togo) at 18H28 and was scheduled to land at Felix Houphouet Boigny airport, in Abidjan, one hour and twenty minutes later.
