During the reporting period, UN specialized agencies and NGOs have intensified efforts to improve the coverage of health assistance for vulnerable populations. Children under-five were vaccinated in various locations in Angola’s countryside including the provinces of Uige and Huila. These and other humanitarian operations are increasingly counting on the participation of provincial authorities and local UNITA personnel.
