Contrary to the prevailing tension visible during mid-December 1995 which led most relief operations to a standstill, the reporting period signals the successful resumption of relief activities in the Angolan countryside. As secuirty risks decline, WFP restarts humanitarian convoys to the northern areas, including Quibaxe, Negage, Uige, N’Dalatando, Cacuso and Malange.
