Suspension by UN of United Nations Special Releif Programme for Angola (SRPA) activities in all nine target provinces continued through January following government of Angola’s decision on 21.12.90 to suspend SRPA releif assistance to UNITA – held areas. In addition to urgently needed food aid and medicienes, seeds awaiting transport from neighbouring Nambia for planting in January/ early February thrus unable to be delivered.
