Participatory Inclusive Land Readjustment a tool for self-financing sustainable habitat through land value capture in Post-Conflict Angola

The Conference on Land Governance and Management, was held from 15 – 17 August 2017 in Pretoria. DW's director made two presentations on Land markets & Incremental Tenure and Participatory Inclusive Land Readjustment. The conference promoted good practices on land governance and management in line with key provisions of the African Union Commission land-related policy. There was the opportunity to share best practices of GLTN land tool content and implementation. Discussions explored the rural-urban continuum as well as customary land rights in an urban context and a focused session on the post 2015 sustainable development agenda (SDGs) and local implementation in relation to land and housing.
